Atigula Aziz - Stadt IV

In my landscape painting, I have been exploring the possibilities of combining the achievements of the old masters with the means of contemporary painting in recent years. The idea that the work should remain comprehensible to the viewer from the primer to the last brushstroke was an important impulse. Last but not least, this intensive engagement with painting in the field of tension between historical and contemporary techniques was an important step in finding my own visual language and turning decisively to representational painting.

I was born in 1979, in 2000 I began studying painting and graphics under Prof. Axel Kasseböhmer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, in 2005 I was appointed master student and in 2007 I received my diploma.

The painting is stretched on a stretcher frame, it is carefully packaged, insured for shipping and sent with a tracking number (DHL/DPD-Germany).
