2004 Haiti 10 Gourdes Banknote
Obverse:
The front of the banknote commemorates the bicentennial of Haiti's independence, marked by the text "Bicentenaire de l'Indépendance d'Haïti / Bisantnè Endepandans Dayiti / 1804 - 2004." A portrait of the revolutionary leader, General Jean-Jacques Dessalines, is prominently displayed on the left, dressed in a military uniform with an iconic bicorne hat. In the background, a historical depiction of the Haitian Revolution is shown in muted tones. The denomination "10" appears in both French ("Dix Gourdes") and Haitian Creole ("Dis Goud") on the upper right. The serial number "A4268594" is printed in black just to the right of the portrait.

The text "Banque de la République d'Haïti / Bank Repiblik Dayiti" is centered at the top, with "Gourdes" and "Goud" in the lower right corner. The design also incorporates a decorative border and anti-counterfeiting elements in the background.
