This historic postcard features the stunning Église Saint-Eustache in Paris, a remarkable example of late Gothic and early Renaissance architecture. Construction began in 1532 under Pierre Lemercier and was completed in 1554 by Jacques Lemercier. The grand portal was later reconstructed in 1772 by Mansart de Jouy, blending elements of classicism with its original Gothic charm.
Situated in the Les Halles district, Saint-Eustache has been a cultural and spiritual hub for centuries. The church has hosted significant historical events, including the funeral of Mozart’s mother and the baptisms of many notable Parisians.
